What number Air filter do I use for the April Air 2000?

Thank you for contacting Aprilaire.

We need to clarify the model number of your air cleaner, as we do not have a model 2000.  It may be one of the following.... 2200, 2400. 2250, 2120, or 2140.

Here is a listing of the filters for each air cleaner.

Model                      filter
2200                        201
2400                        401
2250                        201
2120                        102
2140                        104

Now, the following models can be upgraded if you would like....

Model #2200, 2120 can be upgraded with a #1213 upgrade kit.

Model #2400, 2140 can be upgraded with a #1413 upgrade kit.

When you install the upgrade kit, you no longer need the inner housing or pleat spacers to hold the filter in place.
