Thank you for your email regarding your model 350 Aprilaire humidifier. The decibel range for the Models 350/360 humidifiers is 63 to 73 depending on the installation. The Model 350 you can use insulated flex duct with a couple of elbows to help reduce the noise. We would compare the noise from the 350/360 to the noise of a box fan. They are not that loud but we wouldn't recommend installing them in or near a bedroom.
