I moved into a house with model no. 760. I do not know the age. The fan is now making a noise. I am deciding between replacing the fan or buying the current 700 model. Has there been much improvement in the system since my existing unit?

The current 700 has had a few style revisions a few tweaks with the electrical system, but its footprint in term of physical dimensions and capability are identical. The biggest change is a newly installed unit will have a 5 year full parts warranty versus a 2 year on the older unit.
