On my Aprilaire 560 humidifier it says to replace water panel evaporator annually. Are there any documented instructions on how to do this?

Consumer question:

On my Aprilaire 560 humidifier it says to replace water panel evaporator annually. Are there any documented instructions on how to do this?
Which direction does the tapered washer go inside of the compression nut on the waterline coming out of the solinoid? Thanks.

Thank you for contacting us. Please review the copy of the owner's manual with step by step instructions on how to perform the annual maintenance as well as the periodic maintenance instructions on your Model 560 Humidifier. These instructions are found on page 7, 8 and 9.

The compression nut that is located on the plastic water feed tube should have the small tapered end toward the solenoid valve.

Tuesday, April 5, 2011 by Karen Connor:: I moved into my house 4 yrs ago. I never knew exactly what was the reason for that box on the side of my furnace. On day I open it and the filter that was in there crumbled it was sooooo old. I have notice that the air in the house is no longer fresh. I have no manual or any instruction on this prodcuct and its purpose, replacement parts and replacing the filters and where these product can be purchase. If possiblle can I get a manual.
