As I reported previously my Aunt and Uncle were having some really wicked reactions to a recent pollen "bloom" that had happened in the Tampa, FL area. When we got to talking about I found out this wasn't an unusual occurrence for them, and actually they said they deal with the same allergy issues every year. They take antihistamines, pain relievers and sinus medicine to combat the effects. None of which really seem to work all that well, plus they have to deal with the unwanted side effects of dry mouth, medicine head and drowsiness among others.
Being the wonderful nephew I am I recommended they look into a whole home air cleaner. That next day they called in a local contractor and told him they wanted to install an Aprilaire 4000 Series Air Cleaner. Well, I checked in with them earlier this week and they can't believe how much the air cleaner helped with their allergies. My Aunt Terry said it took a couple of days, but after that their itchy eyes went away, they weren't sneezing as much and they were sleeping much better too.
